Dr. John Van Der Kallen: Climate change and health impacts.

John is a Rheumatologist in Newcastle. John graduated from the University of NSW and spent time training in many rural areas of NSW. He completed his Physicians training in the Hunter and completed his rheumatology training in Leiden in the Netherlands. He subsequently set up the Fracture Liaison Service in the Hunter New England Area Health Service. He now works as a Rheumatologist in private practice in Georgetown. John is also a director of Newcastle Bone Density which is a bone density service in Hamilton. John is the chair of NSW Doctors for the Environment which is focused on the health impacts of climate change as well as other environmental influences on our health.
