Marc Wittenberg: The basics of yoga and why it might save the world.
Marc is a Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher, based in Sydney and Gloucester. His teachings are based on traditional Indian Asana (postures) and Pranayama (breath control) systems. Complemented with Buddhist Meditation. Yoga can be physically challenging and does improve flexibility, reduces the risk of injury and
strengthens muscles, ligaments and fascia. But above all it has calming and releasing qualities. Marc approaches teaching through his wish to share yoga as a tool to connect with one selves body and mind, but also to create a connection with the community and the environment. He teaches a flowing and dynamic style of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga with a strong link to the Ashtanga Series and gives breathing, alignment and strength building particular attention, to create a moving and safe experience in every class.
