Mayee Warren: International justice advocate.
Mayee is an international justice advocate, a social entrepreneur, a management executive, a resident of the glorious Gloucester valley, partner to husband Brad Warren for 37 years, mother to two sons and one daughter, “Lola” to four adorable grandchildren, and custodian of four cows.
For over 25 years, Mayee worked as management executive in complex organisations with diverse mandates in the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors. After spending 13 years serving in international courts in Africa, Asia and Europe, Mayee and Brad returned home to Australia in 2014.
Mayee is passionate about preventing violence especially against women and children. Together with her daughter Lara, they co-founded The Social Cup, a “profit-for-purpose” enterprise that sells ethically produced tea and coffee and distributes half of its profits to benefit women and children in the countries of origin. Mayee is an avid campaigner for the Freedom Partnership to End Modern Slavery and supports community-based organisations Groundswell Gloucester and Energise Gloucester.
In her spare time, Mayee practises as management consultant, sits on Advisory Boards and is a sessional lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Mayee obtained an undergraduate degree in Communications, a post-graduate diploma in International Management and has pursued post-graduate studies in Law and Knowledge Management as a mature age student.
