The Fox Den Cafe and Bar

Sponsor Sustainable Futures Convention 2017, The Fox Den Cafe Gloucester NSW

The Fox Den Cafe opened in November 2014 when the Avon Valley Inn offered Maree Grady the opportunity to run its bistro. Maree and 2 friends seized the opportunity to also redevelop the old bottle shop into a cafe and restaurant, which offers a great selection of meals and sweet treats for breakfast, lunch or dinner, catering services and live music.

Fox Den Thursdays present great original music by Australia’s best up and coming talents from around the country including showcasing the amazing musicians from the local area.
Follow The Fox Den Cafe on Facebook or check out their website for the latest delicious menu items and to see upcoming live entertainment at The Fox Den.

JR Richards & Sons

Megan Griffiths Sustainable Futures Convention 2017, 25-26 March Gloucester NSW

The name Richards has been synonymous with the Waste Management Industry for more than eighty years. In 1958 a member of the original company, JR (Joe) Richards started his own company, JR Richards & Sons at Tuncurry which today operates widely throughout New South Wales. The company currently contracts to over twenty different Councils, serving large regional centres such as Taree, Port Macquarie, Grafton, Parkes, Dubbo, Moss Vale, Picton and Orange.

JR Richards & Sons are also prominent in diverting waste from landfill. Our current recycling operations include kerbside collection services for over 20 Councils with three purpose built Material Recovery Facilities and all up over 100,000 tonnes diverted from landfill annually.

Organics collection and reprocessing to produce mulch and compost products is another area in which Richards continue to expand. We are passionate about our environment and are constantly looking at ways to minimise our footprint and achieve sustainability.

Our Waste Education officer, Megan Griffiths, will be running Recycling Workshops throughout the 2 day program.
